Crock Pot Stewed Plums
3 pounds Ripe Plums
1/2 cup sugar (white, normal)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 cup water
Put the plums in the crock pot. Halve if you want - but I didn't, I like them whole.Add the sugar, cinnamon and water. Put on the lid of the crock pot and cook on low for about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. After this cooking time they are cooked and soft but maintain their shape. If you prefer more of a 'mush' cook on high instead of low. Just delicious served warm with vanilla ice-cream. Freeze for later use.
